He practised medicine, in particular in Latin America (Bolivia), in Vietnam where he was one of the first Western doctors after the fall of Saigon and stayed for two years.


Robert Sebbag was the Director of International Operations of the French Red Cross for three years and was also Vice President at Sanofi on access to medicines. He is the Founder of the NGO Action Against Hunger (ACF) and is now the Administrator of ACF.
